Prancing Horse gives Ferrari F458 Italia a Kick in the Fender in China


This video gives a new meaning to horsing around. While driving on a busy road in Shanghai, China, a Ferrari 458 Italia and a Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 were forced to slow down and eventually stop after a pair of horses and their riders were backing up on the street.

Ferrari 458 Italia Flips Twice in the Air after Exiting the Corkscrew at Laguna Seca


There is a reason why many consider the notorious corkscrew at the Laguna Seca raceway both fantastic and scary at the same time.

If you want to know about the scary part, then you should take a look at what happened during the 2012 Ferrari Racing Days this past weekend.

While tackling the corkscrew, one of the drivers came in way faster than he should of and the 458 Challenge just continued on straight. Due to the car's momentum, the gravel and tires did not stop the Italian racer, which was flung into the air like a toy before it landed on its roof. A very scary incident indeed.

Ferrari Recalls 74 Examples of 458 Italia and California in the States for Faulty Crankshafts


A defective engine crankshaft has forced Ferrari to issue a safety recall on certain 2011-2012MY 458 Italia and 2012MY California. The recall affects a total of 206 cars worldwide, of which 74 were sold in the States.

Ferrari said that due to an incorrect setup of the crankshaft-grinding machine, the crankshafts of the type F 136 engine found in the 458 Italia and California model were not manufactured according to specifications and may fail causing the engine to stall and possibly lead to a crash if the car is on the move.
