Using the Mercedes E-Class, BMW 5-series and Lexus GS as the engineering (and design…) benchmarks for their luxury sedan program, Hyundai created their first rear-wheel-drive sedan that will initially be available only in the N. American and Asian markets. The Genesis is offered with a choice of three engine units, a 3.3-liter V6, 3.8-liter V6 and the brand new 4.6-liter Tau V8, with prices starting in the US under $30,000.
