In the midst of the Detroit Show and following a series of leaks, BMW gave in and released details on the all-new M3 Convertible (see here). Now the Bavarian carmaker has unleashed an official promo video of its drop-top M3 that includes running footage as well as static shots. As with the M3 Sedan and Coupe, the Convertible is powered by BMW M's brand-new V8 engine displacing 4.0 litres and developing maximum output of 420 hp; maximum torque is 400 Nm/295 lb-ft at 3,900 rpm and maximum engine speed 8,400 rpm. -Video after the jump
