And while I was minding my own business trying to feel the Jaguar XF’s leather wrapped instrument panel, suddenly I realize that the guy sitting in the driver’s seat is Mr Renault & Nissan himself, the one and only, his French-Japan highness, Carlos Ghosn. It passed my mind to ask him whether he’d like to see a product like the XF in the group’s portfolio –you know, with the “Ford selling Jaguar, Renault being interested” rumours and all that, but he swiftly left the scene. I guess his intuition told him that me and another 100 guys were about to ask the same question.
