Set to be officially unveiled at this weekend’s Woodward Dream Cruise auto event, held in Detroit, the HHR SS features a turbocharged 2.0-litre engine that can produce 260 horsepower. According to Chevy it sprints from 0 to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 6.3 sec while it covers the quarter-mile in 14.8 seconds at 98.5 mph (158 km/h). The 2008 Chevrolet HHR SS is scheduled to go on sale during the fourth quarter of 2007.
