Our sources revealed to us that Ford’s planning to debut a city-car concept at the Frankfurt Show in September previewing the appearance of the next-generation Fiesta which is set to be unveiled at the Geneva Show in March, 2008. From what we were told, the city-car concept’s design is inspired from both the Mondeo and the Kuga SUV (it’ll also premier in Frankfurt, see details here). The next generation Fiesta will share its platform with the new Mazda2 and it will be sold worldwide. According to our tipster, we should expect the first images or sketches of Ford’s B-Segment concept to be released either towards the end of this week or the beginning of next week.
